HT speaker and equipment questions

OK...I have been toying with completing my LSi surround system for some time now, but I have some questions. First off, my system is as follows:
LSi25 speakers
NAD T763 reciever (now being used as a preamp)
Denon DVD 2900 Universal Player
I want to get an LSiC and a pair LSiFX's
My questions:
1. I am renting at the moment and my landlord does not want any holes in the wall, so that rules out wall mounting the LSiFX's. So are there speaker stands that can handle these speakers?
2. I was thinking of getting a 3 channel amp for the the LSiC and the LSiFX's. Do folks think this would be a good idea?
3. Is it better to have the center channel speaker above or below the TV? Does it matter?
Thanks for your help. I have been a 2 channel geek for a while now and am looking forward to the upgrade.

There are plenty of speaker stands that would work well for the F/X. Look at some from Sanus, or go into a higher end audio place and ask what's available. You would probably want stands at least 30" tall.
A 3 channel amp would be a fine choice if you already have a two channel one that you are happy with to run the fronts. Primare has a great three channel amp for about $1800. You can check it out here.
As far as center speaker above or below tv, it depends on how high it is in relation to your sitting position. If it's closer to the floor and a good 3' below your head, on top of the tv would probably be better. If the top of your tv is about head level or just a tad higher, that would be best. If it is well above your head and the shelf below your tv is near head level, there's your answer. Or, try both and see which sounds best.Current System:

What is the shape of your room(you might have said in previous posts, but I can't remember)?
Yeah, 30" or higher would be good, but anything more than about 36" will be a little shaky with those big speakers.
Personally, I've liked my center channels above the television more, but it might better on bottom for yours.
Can you post pics of your setup?
Random thoughts tonight.
