In-wall speaker recommendation

I'm in the process of completely upgrading my existing HT setup. This will be a 7.1 system and I'm looking for in-wall speaker recommendation for all 7 speakers. I need to go with an in-wall solution because the 'boss' does not want to see these number of speakers in the living room. They also need to be in-wall speakers.... no in-ceiling speakers. Also, for one of the side-surround speakers, I'll have to actually use a traditional speaker since that wall is a fireplace and I can't use an in-wall speaker. So, I'll need a matched speaker that I can attach to the f/p.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum.
A couple of questions to help us out with your setup:

What type of budget do you have to work with(I know that may be prying, but it helps determine a lot).

What are you going to be using the system for, more movies or music?

Is this a new house or a retrofit?

A couple of quick suggestions would be to look into the LSi inwalls if you want really good sound from inwalls. Those people that visited Polk's headquarters recently had a lot of good things to say about the. Also, if it is new house construction, then you can put enclosures into the wall to isolate them and make them sound even better.

Sounds like a fun venture ahead of you.

    Have fun with it all.

    hey zach,

I guess I knew I should have specified this in the original posting....here's my replies...

    1) I would say $2.5-$3K (+/0.5).
    2) Mostly movies, however, this will be the only set up that I'll use for music
    3) this is a retrofit. I'm quite adept at remodeling so I don't have a real problem cutting out plaster & drywall. I would like to keep that to a minimum, however.

I was considering a couple of the LC265i for the fronts and rc85i for all the surrounds (except the one on the f/p, which can't be an in-wall speaker, I don't know what would be a good match for that). I was also considering the LC265i for the center channel but I don't think that would work since putting that horizontally over the plasma would mean a considerable amount of cutting and re-framing a load-bearing wall since the width of that speaker is around 19" and my stud spacing is 16"oc...
