Sad news from the Grand household today...

I hope George doesn't mind this being 'public', I know he has MANY friends at Club Polk.

I (and others) received the following email from George Grand a couple hours ago:

///////
Dear friends,

It is with a truly broken heart that we inform you of our daughter Tiffany's passing. Our beautiful angel apparently, hopefully, passed peacefully in her sleep sometime this morning. She loved each and every one of you.

We have arranged a viewing from 7PM - 9PM Thursday night, and a memorial service to begin at 11AM on Friday.

All our love,

George, Theresa, and Stephanie
///////////

I'm going to send some flowers of my own, but I thought some of you might like to place an order, or send your words in a card. I know no other details, and I'm debating calling him tonight, or giving him some time and space to be with his family and grieve.

George may be a hard man on the outside, but I can assure you of one thing. He loved Tiffany with his whole heart, and didn't think twice about making personal sacrifices to give her the best quality of life possible.

If you are the praying type, get to it. The Grand household could use the support. I'll raise a glass tonight, to George, and to his daughter Tiffany - may they both find serenity and peace.

-Russ

(If you would like the address for the service, or his home address - please email me - ranchodeaudio@comcast.net - there will be some discretion involved here)
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
