odd behavior w/ my receiver and SDA2s

Just noticed this tonight as I went to turn my speakers off to watch a movie w/ my headphones... I power the headphones through the receivers output, so I usually just turn off the "A" set of speakers, and that way I'm not annoying everyone in the house.

Well, I found today that when I turn off the speakers, the SDA drivers still output signal. What's up with that? How are they getting anything? Obviously my receiver doesn't like something about the interconnect, but I'm not sure what...

Anyone have any thoughts?

When they start spewing green pea soup, back away quickly. ;)

Sounds like the ground is making its way back through your speaker selector switch. Basically a feedback signal.

That's odd... and thoroughly annoying. I've been looking around for the method to check and make sure your SDA is working, but I can't seem to find it. Everyone just saying call Ken and he'll mail you one. But I want it now! :)

    Thanks, SCompRacer!

BTW- If I unplug just one end of the SDA interconnect, then this problem is no longer there. It must be something having to do with the common ground thing, then...
