    I like the picture of the women being required to put on gloves to lean against those Kharmas. :D

    The box design that uses multple rings of laminated wood to form the enclosure really makes for a dead box with very little resonance but is a real pain to move around. Those Kharmas shown weigh in at 585 lbs each.

    If I had a ton of mdf laying around and wanted to make a truely resonant free box, no other method comes close.

    Yeah that Tony Gee makes some nice stuff. I considered building some HATTs a while ago. I still think he is a little crazy when it comes to series crossovers though.

    Cement does. But trans-lam is really cool. I'd love to try it, but it would take a long time.

    I just found these DIY speakers on another site. Made from carbon and aluminum. I think they look amazing.

    Yeah, the other nice thing about the layered MDF is that you can make some crazy curves that just aren't possible without some major wood bending skills. I've been meaning to take a crack at making some Nautilis 805-esque cabinets like that.
