    Nice amps, but it looks like someone needs to take the followup course on autocad for those speaker designs and look beyond the fruit basket for a new color palette. :rolleyes:

    Mirror image I guess, but why did they have to use a funhouse mirror? :D

    BTW, is that Alan Greenspan our federal reserve chairman in that pic? Maybe he has found a new career...............

    Yeah, not sure what those speakers are, but I agree they look like kabuki.

    I've seen those speaks before, and though they might not be my cup of tea in the style category, I'll venture to say they are far from kabuki ;):)

    Now if I could only remember where I saw them....hmmmm. I'll see if I can round up a brand name.

    the speakers are vocalese, too... from the webpage:

    This speaker system is designed to bring out a sound reproduction natural, away from coloration and boxy sound in which even the most fastidious music listeners will not find any imperfection.

    Some main features are:

    Multi-asimmetrical and resonant-free composite enclosure. Natural sound away from coloration and dryness;

    2x9 inch woofers with long- throw acoustilene membrane and 3 ½ inch diameter voice coil to decrease the Doppler effect;

    The soft dome tweeters are placed horizontally between the three low/mid drivers on the front panel for the depth and exactly correct sound stage and preventation of the phase distortion.

    For upper overtones, an ultra linear ½ inch kewlar membran super tweeter (over 12 K.hz.) are placed to the front to achive the stage height as correct as possible in the listening room,

    A high / mid range and a super tweeter are placed to the rear panel with an angle rated according to the “hypothetical-hall” concept.

    Line length: for Low frequancy units, 2,35 m., for low / mid freq. units, 96 cm.

    Marble base is used to prevent the rezonances coming from the floor;

    Equipped with the “room acoustic adjustement” controls which are placed at the back panel. It prevents the boomy bass occuring at the rezonance frequency of the listening rooms and the standing-waves at some frequencies arising from the listening room. So this unit ables to assure solid, tight and linear low frequencies, live, warm and detailed mid and high frequencies.,

    Metal-polypropilene capacitors and air core coils are used at crossovers to minimize the phase distortion at the crossover frequencies.
