So, I watched Cruel Intentions last night, and actually found myself enjoying the backstabbing storyline... I only really started watching it because, well... Reese Witherspoon. But in the end, I really enjoyed it.

Obviously rated "R" for a reason, crude in most parts, but hey...
Ludicrous gibs!

I'm sorry, I think you mistyped "Sarah Michelle Gellar" as "Reese Witherspoon". Understandable typo, the keys are right near each other, but don't let it happen again.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    Hahaha. Sorry, my mistake.

But really, the acting in this movie is excellent! All of the main actor/resses played their parts perfectly. A bit of trivia from imdb.com - In the scene towards the end where Witherspoon slaps Phillipe, the slap was totally unscripted. They got so into their roles.. it just happened. The director kept rolling and used the take in the final cut. Then again, Reese and Phillipe were (and still are) married at the time, so maybe she was just pissed off for other reasons (big speakers??? :p)
    Ludicrous gibs!

I agree, those Hollywood types really know how to play soulless, manipulative scumbags to a T. :D

    ha ha, that is great!

i actually really like this movie as well, it seemed like it would be more of a teenie movie considering the cast but i thought they did very well with it. i especially like the ending, "bittersweet symphony" just fits in prefectly there, but then again i love that song...too bad it had to ruin a great band.

By the way, my favorite scene in the entire movie is after Sebastian and Annette visit the old folks home, and they're driving back. hehe, I just have to laugh when I see that scene..
