I know this is lower than the usual standard of SVS, HSU or Outlaw subwoofer, but for $250 shipped it is a pretty good deal.
Just wanted you all to know Amazon had it new for $250 with free shipping.

i don't know, bro. It says the shipping weight for that 12incher is (LOL) 35 pounds.
That's crazy. my 10" sub had a shipping weight of 53lbs.
I hope for Klpsch's sake that that's a typo. If not, well- time to go back to the ol' drawing board. -

Still a sub for $250 can't be scoffed at to hard....

According to the site at Klipsch
FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 26Hz-100Hz±3dB
I am not saying that is true, just what they advertise. I would personally recommend an SVS, but they are hard to come by for $250 shipped.

Not bad at all and I totally agree. I read my post above and wanted to just say that I meant my 404 only goes down to 32hz (-/+3db) while the Klipsch actually goes down to 26hz.Receiver: harmankardon AVR235

i say save up the $200- and get the SVS pb10 or an equal Velodyne. jmo.
sorry, but $250 for a 35lb 12" cone from an UNauthorized dealer?
ppffft... My baby Velo has the same outer dimensions, yet is 20lbs.heavier, has a 2" smaller cone, and STILL was $50 cheaper from an AUTHORIZED dealer. What I'm TRYING to say is that better subs ARE available for less $- you just have to dig deep to find them and most of all just be patient. -
I got my 404 for $179, open box
I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and asked the right people.Receiver: harmankardon AVR235

I bought an Infinity PS-10 for my computer system just last month and was seriously considering buying the Klipsch when i saw it for $249 shipped.
When I saw it only weighs 35 lbs I really doubt its quality.
There is an Advent 12" sub for $79 shipped
