Ok here is the amp you need...it has powered my all polk ht set up with an outlaw 950 for about 1.5 years and is mint with manuals. Price is $1300 firm and local only...I will not ship this beast as it weighs 91 pounds and I have little faith in the shipping companies. I am selling due to some health issues with my neck/spine and insurance does not pay all the bills......     That is one sweet looking amp. I'm slightly interested, but I am also a little confused.

    You say it's 1.5 years old, and was $3000 new, but according to Parasound's web site, it hasn't been manufactured since 1999, and was $2500 msrp.

    How old is it, and is it a the 2200a or 2200at?

    by the way, they're the same amp on the inside, just a faceplate change basically...

    and retail on these bad boys is $2000, not $3000...if it's the at that is...

    yup 2205a...it was purchased in April of 04 and was 2499 plus tax and some cables of course. I do not know how long the store had it. I have the manual and the original warranty card as well.

    either way, it's well worth the $1200 if someone can afford it. 60 freakin' amps for each of the 5 channels!! Jesus Christ!!

    Mine has the newer display window in the center of the faceplate...not on the side like the old one. Other than that they are the same beast....and it has enough juice to make my sda's get up and run down the friggin street.

    PS--Boats my other passion are huge place to throw your dollars into, but nothing like a day on the seas, hot, fish, swim, ski, skimpy bathing suits, then hitting your favorite chair with a cool drink and some smooth tunes, ah nervana. I have had a boat since 91, several go fast, and now a nice walkaround that still gets up and runs to about 50 but handles the big water.
