That amp better be pure class A.
That way, I could listen to music and cook breakfast on it at the same time. -
"Inside the amplifier you will see jevels."
Alrighty then! That would increase the value tremendously. -

I've found OTL amps to be much more efficient to cook on. -

Nope, it's a digital amp design, 92 percent efficient so it's probably running as cool as a cucumber.
Seems more ICE-based and similar power amps are hitting the market this year. Rotel and PS Audio are using this type of amp now. From what I've been reading, the first products coming out have similar sonic characteristics to Krell amps, but weigh very little and consume very little power.
No need to spend $25K to get some jevels inside the case though. -
Even that PDF describes them as "cost-no-object" amps. For the people they're selling these to, they only cost 1/4 of what their cars costLudicrous gibs!

Hell, I'll do it for HALF that! -
Like they say as long as they promise it to be "the best sound ever" I'll take a dozen and pass out my extras to the Polk forum members for free.
I read a while back the first ones to hit the market had lousy placement of the binding posts. To me they look really errrr...ummm cheap and made of tin.Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's -

Dude. If they're spending that much on an amp...I sincerely hope they're spending waaaaay more than $100,000 on a car...George Grand wrote: »
