Computer Sub Choices....HELP MY FELLOW BRETHREN

I'm trying to find a computer sub for my r15-Onkyo rig....playing games and certain music really need something more...r15's are an upgrade from my other speakers but in my 2.1 logitech's I had a sub....now I have better highs and mids but not as much bass extension.

I was orginally going to build a small sealed sub, but I'm not sure which components and I really need a lot more motivation to build it...but...here are my options...I'm aiming at 150...but 175 if it's highly recommended...I'm going to post in my rank...

1. Advent 12''

2. KLH 10''

3. Velodyne VX10

4. Mirage Nano Sub

5. Athena Sub 8

6. Build My own Super duper easy Sealed sub for 150 or less...

7. See what happens with this local auction...Link

Or should I just wait around ebay for a used one...though i don't like the idea of buying used subwoofers....

EDIT: This one is local in Houston I can make the 3 hour drive to pick it up and visit home... http://houston.craigslist.org/ele/97172536.html

AND Just found this one...anyone know anything about AR Speakers? not sure if it's the same as the cable company LInk hope this works

Anyhow! Thanks again

Hmmm just had a thought about replacing my current Home audio sub and moving that one to my computer rig....But I don't think I ahve enough money to upgrade past that and I think my dayton is doing a good job for my dorm room...

    Mmmmmm,

You made it super duper easy for me to choose one but I'm not familiar with any of them.

Good luck with your search anyway....if you don't get any replies maybe that means save another hundred or so then go a little higher up the quality/size ladder.

    another dayton eh?

I am impressed with the preformance of this one.

But the price of that advent is so cheap...

It is also really cheap everywhere not sure of the sudden price drop.

Anyone know anything about the ARPR808

It's an Acoustic Research Sub and it looks great and well on paper the specs are nice...

    It's semi compact too!

    Uses 1 8'' Passive radiator and 1 8'' Subwoofer

I recently update my gaming computer with Klipsch Quintent 2 and bought a Infinity PS-10 sub(I think it sells for $249 shipped at vanns.com)
Recently amazon had a Klipsch KSW-12 for $249 shipped.
I would ideally like to have SVS PB-10 or an HSU equivalent.
With all the new games coming around it would awesome to have good sub.
If you can spend a little more buy a better sub and never look back.
