Nissan Frontier speakers, what will fit?

Hi,

I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier crew cab and I'd liek to replace the stock speakers with something good to go with my Alpine head unit.

I'm considering 5.25 and 6.5 MOMO's, does anyone know if these will clear?
I'd hate to spend the money just to find that they won't fit.
If not, what other Polk speakers would work?

Thanks,

WD

    I was there ealier, Crutchfield says I have 4" rears and I don't, they're 5.25's.
I'm more worried about depth than I am width.

    Wrong forum bro. Go Here.

But to answer your question, you have 6.5's in the front door and Im not sure but I think its 5.25's in the rear.

The Momos should fit just fine and even if they dont it wont be by much. A simple spacer could remedy that in no time.

Yes, you're right, they are 5.25's in the rear, thanks for the pointer to the correct forum.

Wouldn't a spacer take up more room where depth is concerned?

No. A spacer would mount to the door panel and pull the speaker out.
