Well with verizon's 15 day return policy I decided to return the V710 and get the E815 and I am very pleased. Damn good phone. The 710 was good but the batt life was not near as good as the 815. As a matter of fact, I have a full batt for 3 days now on the 815 whereas I would have charged my 710 already.

Both the 710 and 815 have the same excellent reception. The 815 is fully digital so there's no analog, but to be honest, I saw an analog symbol only once in about five or six years, so full digital was ok for me.

Also the 815 has the ability to change UI skins which is cool.

Another great feature is the ability to use the speakerphone while the phone is closed.

I know some others have the E815. How do you guys like it?

the E815 is great. If you ever want the full bluetooth enabled, you can hack that as well w/ the motorola phone tools kit. This phone has worked great for me, just like all motorola's though, definitely don't drop or abuse them :D

I was looking at all the hacks people are doing to these phones on howardforums. You can do some pretty cool hacks. I heard verizon is getting pissed and is supposedly coming out with a software update that's gonna make it harder to hack these and other manufacturers' phones.
