PSW10 hookup to Stereo Amp...Need Help

Hi...I just bought a PSW10 and I want to use it on my NAD stereo amp. What is the best hookup option for the sub using my NAD amp in order to perform it optimally?

I made an experiment and I don't know what will be the effect on this later both to my amp and the sub. Using the speaker out (L& R) of my stereo amp, I connected a pair of speaker wire going to the speaker level input (L & R) of the PSW10. The sub worked fine but I'm just curious if this will not damage my amp for both my front speakers and the sub were connected in the same speaker terminal of my amp?

Another thing, I want to improved the bass depth of the PSW10, will I need to set the low pass to 80Hz or make it to 160Hz?

Any suggestions?

If you don't have sub pre-outs on the amp then you can hook it up just like you did with the speaker wire. L/R out on amp to L/R in on the sub, then another set of wire goes from L/R out on sub to the actual speaker connections.

This method will not hurt the amp.

How deep/low the PSW10 can go is fixed (the low end of the frequency response), neither setting will change that. Just try and use the one you like the most.

..........it is just fine.
My stereo receiver is powering the sub and speakers from the binding posts and it an excellent way to for them to work.

someone tell me how do i connect the PSW 10 to the speaker outs of the receiver, i mean there are rca plugs on the one end and just wire on the other end, ho do i do this.
