So, I was watching Almost Famous (for the nth times), one of my favorite flick of Hudson. One of the featurette is a segment around Stairway to Heaven and its inspiration. Anyways, I played the CD (LZ IV, circa 1984, when CDP and CD mastering were in its infancy. I haven't played the CD for a good 10 years or so, never realized that recording quality sucked big time, now that I have played it on my current system.), but the song itself is timeless. It brought a lot of great memories of my timelines.

Just for S&G, what do you guys think of this:

it could be a very old subject, but I just stumbled into this tonight. So, I would be interested in reading those opinions and knowledge of polkies, who had heard this before.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I don't care what anyone says, If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life that would be it.

God, you guys need to listen to more Zeppelin. That song doesn't even crack their top 15.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Maybe the top 15, but definitely not in the top 10. The whole first two albums are better, imo. And I am one of the die-hards that thoroughly enjoys Zep III.
When it comes to picking a favorite album, it's almost impossible for me to do, but if I were given no choice but to have to, I would be waffling between Zep I and Presence.
