Just saw this movie, to me it was made very Torrentinoesque. Not a bad thing but to me the way the movie was shot just had that feel of Pulp Fiction/Jackie Brown.
Great cinematic shots of the Mediterranean coastline. Just some drop dead gorgeous scenes.
Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsly were fantastic. Although this is a British film and at some points I had to turn on the subtitles because I could not understand a word they said. Pretty heavy Cockny(sp?) accents. Ben is about as diverse as they come when it come to actors. I mean the guy played Ghandi, now he is dropping F-bombs and C-Bombs with the best of them, and just plain psychotic in this movie.
Not a bad rent. Do not know if I would buy it because of the accents are so damn thick.

I agree this movie needed subtitles, but every third word or so was enough to keep you in the movie. I wasn't sure about it at first, but the more I thought of talking to my co-workers like Ben Kingsley talked to Winstone, it made me laugh every time, so it's definetely worth it just for his character. I get along with them all, just the over-the-top'ness of it is a hoot.
"Dylan, is that project done? (Throwing my head forward) NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!" -
LOL
Man you could seriously freak out your employee's talking to them like Ben. Just don't rip on their significant others like he did, it's apt to get you hurt!
