am thinking of a preowned tube preamp and this looks interesting.
like that it has a remote and tape loop (to use an equalizer for some old poor sounding cds).

has anyone used this piece, or heard it that could comment on it?

Another in same price range- sonic frontiers line 1.

For less cost, anthem pre 2l ; a bit more preowned are the sonic frontiers line 2 and bat vk30 get great user reviews.

Just wonder how the NuVista pre stacks up in comparison.

thanks , Bernie

Check out the Supratek pre-amps, they're handmade in the land DownUnder from an Aussie named Mick Maloney. Alot of people suggest they are the very best preamps under $10k. They sell for $2100 new for linestage only, and $2500 with phono. Check out Audiogon for reviews. Highly recommended. A gentle I'm in contact with often (Bwhite) was using a $10k premap then sold it in favor of a supratek, it's that good.
