anyone know anything about these speakers? A local guy is selling a pair of these for $50 Made in Germany circa 1975 he says. 3 way bass reflex.

    You should buy them imediately.

    It's a laid back speaker, acoustic suspension design, CLASSIC sound. They really are gear driven, and the presentation can change dramatically depending on the what's used to run them.

    I've owned a few pairs of ADS over the years.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I might be to late on the ADS L-710's. the sale is pending with another buys.

    he does also have a pair of Dynaco A25's. Here again, i'm not familar with these at all. He's entertaining a "best offer" on these. I will prob go look and listen to them this week some time.

    Any info someone can depart on the Dyanco's would be very helpful.

    Fawk! I was just a few hours late on snatching up the ADS L-710's. the seller was asking $50.. he got them new in 1975. He didn't know that 30 yr old speakers were worth anything more than about $50 !!!!

    So i never got to see or listen to them.. but i did Bluebook them. OMG! i almost began to cry. :(

    Oh well. maybe something good will come out of it.

    He still has the Dynaco A25's up for sale. So i may make an offer on them.
