I've had a cough/sinus/congestion thing the past few days so I took some Nyquil last night (didn't measure, just took 3 short sips) and here 12 hours later i'm still blinking slowly, moving my head slowly, and making sure i don't put my head down or back or I'll pas right out.........

I've had to take vicodin in the past, and the strongest ones have zero affect on me, but this liquid stuff gets me every time......so bizarre.....

    :D I know what you mean,, my wife was taking some for her cold/sinusitis, so I took a "pull" of that liquid and in about 30 mins, I was getting dry mouthed, buzzed, and otherwise feeling pretty good :D Get me a refill,please :D

    GoodLuck with the sinus thing there Brett, one of my buddies is a musclebound wightlifter guy and when his sinuses flare up he is a 98 lb. weakling. Fortunately I have never been cursed with that kind of thing.

    I also heard your Nyquill has some strong alcohol in it.

    That stuff knocks me out! I took some once then decided to sit down and fill out an online application one night. After 10 minutes I had to call my wife in to help me finish. I couldnt be sure I was spelling correctly or even reading right. Nyquil rules!

    I wouldnt have slept all week without that stuff. 320 lbs, and I get knocked out by a couple sips of that stuff. sleep like a baby.

    I havn't tried it myself but I've seen the effect it has on people when they accidently take nyquil instead of dayquil...

    NyQuil is the only thing that can get me to sleep when I'm sick. God bless that stuff.

    Long time ago I accidently took a Tylenol PM and not a regular tylenol for a headache, sure glad it was a weekend. :eek:

    How about the scene in the one episode of Home Improvement where Tim is sitting on the couch in the middle of the night, drinking maalox out of a bottle w/ a kids twisty straw?

    Wow.....I passed out shortly after I posted this for about 3-4 hours and then i was feelin much better (awake)......

    In the past when I've had surgery, the Tylenol w/ Codeine is as close as I've ever come to getting completely wasted, and what a trip that was.........(seeing me **** up is something that about 90% of my friends have wished for for a LONG time...lol)

    When Deb makes me drink that nasty crap I chase her around the house so as I can plant a big nasty kiss on her. She doesn't make me take it too often now...can't imagine why not.
