    Lou,

I tried to practically give it away, but I am putting it to good use. I hooked it up to the SDA and it sounded good, I also got my hands on a pair of LSI9 and they also sounded good. I have the 9's stacked on top of the SDA looks really good and I just might keep them. I turned off the lights and sat in my leather chair and literally heard every note off of a Gypsy Kings CD, the details were incredible. The Acurus CD player is very defined and straight foward great buy on this one. I was tempted to get a Jolida but found this and I am happy. How is everything with you? hope you are injoying the new car. I should be back up their next month. By the way my brother is running 2 pairs of SDA's front and back and a LSi center and the systems is awesome.

If i cant sell a piece of gear for a ood price, I would keep it and use it too. sounds like the perfect use for that amp, and have no doubts in it having a great sound. just make sure no one steals it from your office.

    Polksters,

I myself have found that the system is sounding better everyday, I just picked a pair of LSi9s and have changed my pre to a B&K PT5 with a B&K St125.2 II amp and moving everything into my main room to get more use out of it. I find myself listening more to 2 channel and less to HT. I can hear very fine details even when I am walking around the house. I have the 9's stacked on top of my SDA's, and doing an A/B switching with the 2 setups and just finding my audio nirvana, this hobby is now becoming an expensive addiction. Can you say crack anyone!!!

It wouldn't be so bad if the first speakers and such were free... :D

I've been down this road. I'm glad I got the room for a good home theater and 2 channel set up in my house. I know you do too. you wont regret going the 2 system route, I assure you :)

I found getting 1 system to sound the way I like for both music and movies just too complicated

    Guys,

I know what you mean the other day I purchased the **** DVD Superbit for my son. I came home and he had a couple of his friends over and I put the movie in and just to see the look on their faces when the B&K 307 pushed the LSi inwalls to very clear, accurate levels made me think that that system is where it needs to be, anything else might be overkill. I saw 2 12 year old kids jump out of their seats with some surround passages, very cool. Then I sit in front of my 2 channel system and listen at a normal level to some Nora Jones, or Chuck Mangione, or Kurt Whalen, or Carlos Satan, or The Eagles and think this system is good but could get better, maybe with tubes I think 2 Channel is where it's at for me right now. Will keep you guys posted.
