well usually whenever any speaker company delves into anything less than 8 ohms it usually means that itself is a "higher" end speaker and should be paired with something to match it's "requirements" though certainly I'm sure many of us can support these speakers....I just have a general sterotypic stance on onkyo, harmon kardon, etc speakers, because I haven't been impressed on a lot of these "receiver/amplifier brand " speakers though there are exceptions....this could be one of them...they certainly do look pretty if they were a low end speaker.

It used to be that Denon were Mission speakers from the UK. Not sure if it still applies.
