I changed my main speakers, replacing my RT7's in the front with a pair of RTi8's. The rest of the system finds a CSi3, with R50's on the side and R15's in the back. My future plans call for FXi3 to replace either the sides or backs. I am considering selling either the RT7 or the R50. Which speaker will fetch more and which speaker will do a better job in either side or rear duty to replace tehe R15? BTW, subwoofer is next.....

The RT7 is 4 or 5 times the speaker the R50 will EVER be.

I would even guess that it could hold its own against the RTi8...

    Sell the R50, no contest.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

What Sid meant to say was:

G'head and bag the R50's for rears in your video rig, then take the RT7's and start setting up a 2ch rig based around them.

    Cheers,
    Russ
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I took my RT7's out of our HT and set them up on a (cheap) 2 channel rig. I never realized how well they sounded before. It's stereo Paradise.

I heard the RT7 for the first time at a friends place this holiday and wow are they a speaker! I cant imagine the 50 sounding anywhere near as good. Not even the same ballpark
