For anyone who might be interested. In '04 Stray Cats put out a DVD entitled Stray Cats - Rumble in Brixton. You may have seen some of it on HD-Net. They ran it for awhile months back. I picked up the DVD at the local BB not too long ago. I've never been a big fan of theirs, but must say that I was quite impressed. Picture and sound are really good, and the performance is very energetic. First time I have ever seen a drummer stand throughout a concert, and a bassist stand on his bass.

I'd like to check that out.

Micah will be here shortly to denounce Brian Setzer as the Anti-Christ and then give a glowing review.

If you ever get the chance watch/listen to Brian Setzer Orchestera-Live In Japan. I was never a huge Stray Cats fan, but this DVD is really good. I didn't realize what a great guitarist Brian Setzer is. He completely slipped under my radar all these years. They put on a great show for the very rabid Japanese audience. His band is excellent as well as entertaining. Highly rec. and a no brainer for a Stray Cats fan.

    Good stuff Maynard

Setzer is on tour now (nov - dec). It's his Christmas Extravaganza. I saw it 2 years ago and it was fantastic. Definetly tops on my list of shows to see. He does a ton of christmas tunes, some setzer stuff and even some stray cats stuff. If you get the chance, check it out.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I've always liked his stuff with both the Stray Cats and BSO. I caught BSO while in London a few years ago and it was just a smokin' show. He is very underrated as a guitarist IMO.
