This has to be one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Not only the fact about what the mule did, but the fact that the wife stood there and TOOK PICTURES! Holy hell. Her husband is one lucky guy

Yes, according to Snopes, the mule was a zombie mule. Obviously a regular mule could have never killed a mountain lion. :rolleyes:Setup:

It gets old after 10 minutes of room shaking if nothing else is going on. I believe the pictures are real but I was actually hoping the mule was defending his owers and the dogs.
Snopes says a mountain lion could easily kill a mule but I dont know, mules are VERY strong and it would be a hell of a fight. I bet a full size horse would be more than a match though. We have friends that raise horses for a living and the first time I ever saw one up close and dealt with it I felt ridiculously tiny and weak. These are unbelievably powerful animals.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Very true that they are strong. However, I'd say any kind of cat is MUCH (much, much, much, much) faster and has much sharper teeth and claws. I guess it depends on if the horse/mule could get a hold of the cat first. If the cat starting ripping at the horse's/mule's neck or sides, I imagine it'd all be over.George Grand wrote: »

Bingo! A mule or horse is no match for a lion. It simply doesn't have the speed or agility that a big cat like that has. look at the picture, that cat is within easy striking distance with its claws while its in the mules mouth on swipe across the mules knees & it's all over.

I love cats, big or small. I had an old alley cat, that my wife saved from off the streets of downtown Nashville, that weighed in at 28 lbs when we got him. After a steady diet of science diet, he trimmed down to 20 lbs. He kicked every dog in the neighborhood's ****!!! I loved it when this Chow Chow, that would never learn, would corner him by the dumpster. Within a few seconds, the Chow would be yelping and high-tailing it away with a effed up schnozola .
He was lucky to get away with both eyes"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Years ago I had a neighbor that had a full grown rottweiler. This dog was massive and mean if he didn't know you. (One time pinned a newbie in the neighborhood against his own car.) However he also had a cat with all the attitude in the world. That cat OWNED that dog. On multiple occasions I remember seeing that dog run from that cat.
One day however the other neighbor's collie got loose, and we watched him chase that cat into a field behind the house. About 10 minutes later out came the collie. Never saw the cat again.
I guess it's all about knowing how to pick your fights. :rolleyes:HT
