someone know where can i find info about the diferents materials of the speakers and in which music will sound better?

for example i know that an woofer with an cone of aluminun (an hard cone) will sound better for techno music, and an cone with paper dont will sound so good for that music...

and for example foam edge better for any kind of musing and rubber edge for another..

hope you guys understand me :)

I'm not too familiar with aluminum, but Bose & Paper are Flesh & Blood; typically synonomous with elevator music. Really bad elevator music. ;)

    Paper... Polymer... Kevlar... Aluminum... Birch

JVC says Birch is the best...

B&W will tell you Kevlar is the best

Brands like Polk use a Polymer of sorts...

Paper is usually on cheaper drivers, but paper drivers can sound amazing!

Foam surrounds are, in theory more accurate than rubber. But rubber last quite a while longer.

Don't forget phase plugs - phase plugs can improve sound over a regular dust cap.
