During my "I quit smoking so I am allowed to spend $$$$ and build a 2 channel system" crazyness last week I bought these for the SDA 1B's; paid $127 shipped at ebay.
Please tell me that I did not throw my money away....

Those are EXCELLENT cables! They should reveal a LOT of detail with a nice top end.

Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Looks like Audioquest Type 4 wire, with silver connectors. Not sure on the spades, but the banannas look like BFA. If I recall correctly these sell for around $200 a pair, and get pretty good reviews. I assume they have a website, if you want to know more about their construction.

Yep, Type 4's are highly regarded as "the best cheap speaker cable on the market" (stereophile).
Good stuff, I ran Type 4 in a biwired config (2 pairs) for about 2 years. It's good cable---but you'd definitely like Granite or Bedrock better, a little more fleshed out midrange and deeper, better controlled bass.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -

Unfortunately that is something I am NOT good at.....sometimes I just follow impulses and then realize it was not such a good idea. The good thing though is that at least I got started, and in general seems I made not so bad choices...... the other good thing?
