System Audio

Does anybody know anything about this brand of speakers: System Audio? One of the two(at least good) local shops carries these. I didn't get a chance to get my listen on, but they were nice looking speakers to say the least. He said they are a Denmark product. The SA2K looked like Sonus Faber Concertios. Prices seem to be in the same category as well. I didn't ask what the entry level was, but one set of bookshelves was around $4000 being run off of some Mac stuff.

I'm going back in soon to listen, but does anyone have any opinions of them?

name itself gave me a white speaker van vibe, but if they are 4000.00, I'd imagine it would be easy to tell if they are worth it or not if listenned to.

I've never heard of the brand.

Definetly not white van type speakers. They are being sold alongside higher end stuff like Mac, M&K, Def Tech, Phase Tech, Sim2, Mitsu, Anthem, Paradigm, and some others that I can't recall off the top of my head. Here is the website of the local shop in Memphis: Modern Music

I haven't bought anything from this shop yet, but they are knowledgeable enough for me. I'm not in the market for myself. I've got a couple installs coming up and thought they were interesting.

I don't have experience with this brand, but they do look great and classy! do let us know after your audition, what you thought of them.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

i learned this when buying vintage stuff online, and later when i started selling it, however i don't practice this tactick (sp) Price high and they are percieved as valueable. Modded sonic impacts for 400 + when its a $20 amp.. I would think someone here would have heard the name.. But i may be wrong :) look nice, But for that change id stick with well known names that will be around for the warranty

System Audio is a danish speaker with the classic "european sound", very laid back and neutral. US dealers are few and far between, those that do carry them are usual very high-end shops. I was quite interested in a pair of SA 205's (MTM design), but was unable to line up a local audition. From what I have gathered, they do quite well for themselves when in a room with hardwood floors. Much like the Infinity kappa 200, 400, 600 series, reviews are virtually non-existant.
