I watched it last night and was not impressed, yes the cartooning is good the sound is good, but it reminded me of a Disney movie, for those who have not seen it, you'll see why.

A renter at best.

I enjoyed it, it has good picture (7/10) and sound (8/10). Not quite in the same ballpark as Lion King (new release), but entertaining, nevertheless. it could also be due to Robin Williams' wittiness...

Nope, not Pixar. Blue Sky studios, the same company that did Ice Age.

The movie was aimed at a very young crowd I thought, whereas some animated movies still appeal to adults. The animation was great but other than that it didn't really stand out. Just my opinion

The "Ice Age" dvd sounded great, so I think I will get this one. The key word here is "DTS". :D

I myself have used the first opening couple minutes as a demo quite a few times. When scrat sinks down on the acorn it sends a really cool shockwave through the enitre room. To continue my derail, I really liked that movie in general :)

This one does not appeal to me at all, doubt I'll ever see it.

We rented this one over the weekend and it was ok. After the first 10 minutes I thought it was going to suck then Robin Williams saves it. Still, Id wait til it makes it to the $.99 rental bin. Its worth it just to see the cool animation. Other than that its kind of a ZZZZZZZZ.

Id give it 4 out of 10, maybe 5 for Williams performance.

I saw it, and wasn't impressed at all. Maybe a couple of sound and picture demos, but that's it. The story concept they used is just soooo damn tired. I expected so much more.

Bought it a week ago and maybe tonight will watch it. The short demo I did see it seemed like it may appeal to the really young but thats OK I really like computer animated stuff like that.

Ice Age...Scrat stomping on the acorn and splitting the ice is a great one to crank....and Blue Man Group drums.

I found it to be almost too kiddie in the plot but Robin Williams did manage to save it. Maybe worth a rental but not worth buying.
