Hi, I have a 12" GNX 124 sub that was given to me by a friend. I'm building a box for it and don't know which kind would be best to make in my situation. I've read online people saying this speaker is loud and others saying its not so loud. I have an Isuzu Rodeo, and want LOUD bass (drum & bass music type of bass) w/o taking up all the room in the back of the car. I don't have an amp yet but I'll be getting one soon, but it will be as cheap as I can get it.
So far this is the idea: build a sealed 1.25 cu. ft. box, and hook it up with a 250w (or better) mono amp.
any suggestions as to whether this is the right kind of box / amplifier choices? Thanks! (i'm kind of guessing at this as it is....)

Id go with a sealed but be careful with the amp. That sub is only rated at 175 RMS so you dont want to go much above that. 250 is as high as I would go.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
