Not talking about through the speakers...
I was curious as to how warm the tuner gets when being on for extended periods, so I was feeling around the top of the case. Obviously, the left side was the warmest! But I noticed something else... I could feel a vibration through the case. It was worse over on the left, but it was present everywhere on the case. So I shut my amp off and stuck my ear down there w/ the tuner on, and could actually hear a hum, as well.
For some reason, it seems like this would not be normal, but I could be wrong... I haven't had any problems with the tuner, and the only reason I found the hum was because I was curious...
Anyone else?

Oh yea, mine gets really warm and hums, vibrates. That is the coils of wire in the main transformer. They often vibrate. Nothing to worry about. If it bothers you it could always be isolated with a piece of rubber or something.
madmaxVinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
I was just wondering, since none of my other components seem to have the same kind of vibration... especially for a solid-state device!Ludicrous gibs!
