Hi,

I need a SL6506 trilam for a CS400i (the kind that snaps into the bezel).

This is the right model #, right?

Thanks,

Adam

If you call polk and mention you are a Club member I think you can get a discount on that item. I'm not sure if they still stock it though. Call CS and check it out.

    Airplay355,

Thanks for the reply, but Ken in Polk CS told me that they only stock the silk/polymer version of the SL6506 for the RTixxx line, not the trilam (original) version in the RTxxxi line.

That's not really an option for me because I want to keep trilams all around.

    Buy a pair of RT35i.

It will only cost a bit more and you get two tweets, two midbasses.

    Sid,

Yep, I've been starting to look for RT35i's as a back-up plan. Ya' know of any?

    Thanks,

    Adam

You could look for a Cs245i as well. That would give you less spare parts hangin around if you didn't want that. I'm not sure what rt35is cost but a cs245i shouldn't cost you too much at all, especially if you find one with a dented cab or something.

I don't think the trilam from the CS245i will work, given that it's the screw-in type, not the type for the raised bezel in my CS400i.
