I am looking to upgrade my current sub with an SVS. However, I would like to help offset the cost and sell my PSW 650 first. It is gloss black, in near flawless condition, fully fuctional. It is not missing a grill I just took it off for picture purposes. I bought it locally at a high end A/V dealer. No original box or manuals. However to do have the purchase receipt dated mid 2001. $500 obo. Shipping is around $75 put local pick-up is fine with me. I live in Wisconsin about an hour north of Milwaukee

Also for sale is a CS245. It is truely flawless. You could not tell it from new. No original box or manual. $150 obo. Shipping is $25. I bought this locally too. I upgraded to a CSi5 and have no need for it.

I will guarantee these speakers to be as stated and not DOA.

BTW..I have now started saving my boxes on all the new equippment. Soon I will need a designated box room. My email is odie_917@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

    Bass,

    Welcome to CP.

A little bit of advise, if you will take $400 plus shipping for it, http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32544 then just state that.

You'll get alot more replies that way and alot less flaming. ;)

Good luck with your sale. :)

Isn't this sub one of the "better" Polk subs?

I talked a friend into buying 1 a few years ago. It pounds, it's great for HT maybe not so good for 2-ch music. Certainly one of the better Polks.

Good luck with the sale, Bass

IMO both items are priced a bit high to sell here (though the center may sell if someone is looking for that exact model and has been unable to locate one).

As a general rule, you're not going to get top dollar for your stuff here. The fleam market is more about keeping gear in the family and passing along great deals on gear to help each other out.

We also don't do the OBO thing here because we don't like to get into bidding wars against each other. So it's best to name your price, and stick with it. If it's a good price, someone will buy your gear - if it's not, we'll let you know.

If you want top dollar for your stuff, try Ebay or Audiogon

Sorry my initial post didn't abide by YOUR rules. I believe this is a public forum and if I chose to add OBO. to my post I will. I'm not trying to start bidding wars...I'm simply offering nice speakers to anyone who's interested. I'm NOT looking for your opinion of my post or my prices. If theyre too much they wont sell. My loss I guess.

Now I am all for being nice to those sellers that may not understand the rules here but, someone blatantly just saying NO? If this was school, he would be in the office. Please, bassaholic, don't troll or you will be flamed

Or maybe I am reading wrong-I've been known to do that

The asking prices are a tad high, and this forum may be open to the public, but it's run by a private company. That, and if you plan to play well with others, listen to the 'unwritten rules' of the road from the membership. We take a LOT of pride in this FM, and strive to keep it honest, and safe.

I'd love to have a 650 for the video system I'm re-building. Damn right it is a GREAT sub.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    PSW 650: $400 picked-up or $475 shipped
    CS 245: $100 picked-up or $125 shipped

If anyone is in the market for a sub and thinking about a newer PSW 505 or 404. This 650 will out perform both of them for the same price or cheaper. Gloss black cabinet looks better too. I encourage pick-up on the sub and will be more than happy to trial it for you. Or, I can meet someone within a reasonable distance for the cost of gas.
