Co worker was talking about his new house's media room. I showed him the SVS website. He looks to be ready to order a new sub! Is it just me, or does everyone like helping spend someone else's cash on new toys?
Now if I can just get him to lose the klipsch and get real speakers!

Blasphemous! I am devastated. Completely and utterly scarred for life by your obvious ignorance concerning the amazing Klipsch sound.
And yes, it's a lot of fun to spend other people's money - 'cause I never have any! lolGeorge Grand wrote: »

I already have stereos in all my vehicles, a home theater and a stereo of my own. To upgrade I would need more funding than I am capable of devoting to it now. The only way I get to play with new equipment is to live vicariously through others who buy the new equipment and then ask me to help them set it up!Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I like to hear what others think and get the exposure to other theories and the like. Right now I'm helping a gut put together a 10K HT and it's been a blast. Definately learning what is worth doing and what is not....There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. It's a lot of fun spending other people's money but the difficult part is to do it without bias. Just because YOU don't like the Klipsch sound has absolutely nothing to do with what he likes/wants.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

I didn't get on him about it. Just suggested he go listen to other speakers before buying more Klipsch. He seems to have fallen in love with Martin Logans. His wife will want to kill me!
Now, the kid renting a place with my son, thats another story. I did suggest he get rid of all the boom boom in his car and work on some quality sound.
I might of used some stronger language to decribe it!"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson
