Velodyne spl 100r

Buying a new ht setup and need some opinions on the Velodyne SPL-100r. I have read all of the postive comments about svs, but dont want a sub of that size. My local dealer doesnt have any of the spl line in, but raves about the performance of that sub. It will be used predominatley for HT in a 12 x 18-8 room and I really never will be cranking it. What are you thoughts?

    Have you listened to the sub yet? I have known local dealers (not here in Yellowknife) that will let you demo the product at home. If not, have the dealer set it up for you. I wish I could demo products here.
    I do not know a lot about subs, but have heard good things about Velodyne. I am on the verge of purchasing an older REL Strata Sub. I am sure you will receive a lot of comments from other members. Good Luck.
