I just put in 2 polk db 12s run off a mtx 421d, and I have to say I'm impressed. This is supposed to be their bottom line sub and they get loud and sound good. I've never used polk because everyone says Polk sucks or they are entry level equipment. I've been into car audio for about 10 years and have used jl audio, image dynamics, ppi, orion, soundstream, memphis, kicker and so on. And I have to say that for the price I got these, not much can compare. They're not the best I've had but nothing in the price range can touch them. Now I'm really curious about the polk components.

Pick up a set of the SR6500 compaxials... they'll change your mind about Polk, period.

And to think... you bought the "cheap" db line of subs... the momos would have you impressed even more. Not saying that's a bad thing, hell, I don't have polk subs yet because I'm still waiting for my freebie Jensen 10's to DIE... just saying...
    Ludicrous gibs!

Usually its a good rule of thumb to disregard anybody that says "this brand sucks" cause they dont know ****.

Virtually all major brands are making quality products. Some are better than others but all are good and worth the money......except Audiobahn....they suck.
