B&W's for the office!
I found these B&W DM4's at an antique shop. An old couple bought them new, used them for light listening for the past 33 years and finally decided to sell them. They are in great condition! The DM4 was the first speaker produced at their new factory in 1972. DM stands for "Domestic Monitor". Very cool speakers!

nice! I like getting "old people" gear, because they're not likely to be abuse. Unless said old people were deaf, as in the case of my grandmother. You could hear her TV from 100 yards away from the houseLudicrous gibs!

dudes....that "old" couple were not that old 33 years ago! They were probably blasting Zepplin and trippin out on the speakers....System 1: Martin Logan Vantage, Rotel RC 1070, B&K Reference 200.2, Music Hall DAC 15.2, Yamaha 2300

Nice find . Let us know how they sound
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. I'm pretty excited about them. A lot of this vintage stuff does absolutely nothing for me but when you find stuff that is in really great shape and has some history it's fun.
