LSIFX Squeak/Creak
Hello fellow polkies,
I have a pair of LSIFX speakers that I am currently using as side surrounds in a 7.1 system. Since I purchased them, I have always noticed that the "power-port" has a little "play" in it that results in them squeaking/creaking if they are touched while mounted. Unfortunately, this also results in the noise manifesting itself whenever I play my system at anything but low listening levels. At first I just ignored this issue, but it's really starting to grate on my nerves!
Have any of you exprienced an issue like this? I have them bolted to a stud in the wall so I don't believe that a lack of support is the issue. Any ideas on how I can eliminate this annoyance?
Thanks in advance,
mrorem
