Yes...
But I think* it would raise the -3db point to some rediculously high frequency like 80hz. Has to do with the woofer and how much volume it needs and how large the enclosure is and what size port....
I wouldnt do it...
Would be easier to take the driver out and find out its specs and build a new enclosure for it I'd think...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Thanks, its an old m&k with a blown sub, I was thinking about buying another sub for it and making it ported. ps its a 12in sub incloseureMy HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

Now you could take a new driver, measure the internal dimensions of the M&K box, get the volume and see what you can make. You could very well make a nice lil sub - but you would need to find a sub that worked well with that box. Would be easier in the end to build your own though, IMO.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

A 1ft3 enclosure will be very difficult to tune low if you want to have any decent amount of port area at all.
Model the driver and see what you get.....www.forceaudio.com .... We cut through the BS.
