Phoenix Gold speaker wire

Alpine 6-1/2" Type-R Coaxial 2-Way Speakers- SPR17LP-, in side doors

Alpine 5x7" Type R speakers -SPR-574A-, in the back.

2 Alpine type R subwoofers in custom box

Not the absolute best, but it works like a champ, you can hear it from like 2 or 3 blocks away from your stand point.

OK never mind, but making a banpass box makes the subwoofer pound twice as hard right? because its all about acustics? but you cant tell when your going to blow it do you? i was reading this on a nother fourm~

I can't elaborate on it right now, but stay away from bandpass boxes! Yeah, they're loud, but that's all they are! They have absolutely no sound quality; they're just loud and sound horrible! If you just wanna experiment with your $5 sub and make one, that's fine, but don't ever expect good sound out of a bandpass box.

that's going with the norm of bandpass boxes. Now if you custom design and build a bandpass, you'll get the absolute flattest sounding box possible. No box can be tweaked and tuned quite like a bandpass. Problem is, people usually just build them for sheer volume and they destroy the subs. But if I was building a true SQ system and space was no issue, I'd only go bandpass.

Yea, im just going to use that **** $5 sub and see what happens, only problem with that plan is that i have no clue how many watts i should run throught it? so if i blow it oh well i guess, ill try no to though. I dont know how to go about building the banpass box though, i mean ive built at least 10 or more of different kinds of boxes but damn, hum ill draw something up and post it and to see what you guys think.

P.S- this is kind of a random question toxis but what is that sunfire sub like? dose it bump? I have never herd of them befor so i looked it up and the box has a bunch of little turny nobby things are those ALL the different gains and settings for the sub?

The sunfire super jr is a crazy sub. 9" cubed and it hits down to 22 hz ± 3 dB... The knobs you are talking about are: 1 for gain, 1 for crossover, 1 for phase (I think), 4 rca's for line level input/output and 4 binding posts for high level input / output.
