Hey guys if you were powering some rti70's w/ a csi40 what would be a good option for an amp. I have seen some vintage citations sitting around, which people seem to rave over. How do these compare to the new outlaws or used rotels out there? Thanks

Hi. IMHO the new Outlaws and Rotel are better in resolutions like cleaner bass and more transparence from mid to treble.

I have an older Citation 20 series amp - high current 200wpc. It is a good sounding amp although I like my PSE amps better. The Citation is a very good high current amp and I guess the determining factor would be price. I'm not sure that I would pay a big premium for the Citation but it is still a very good product.

I have not heard them but the new Outlaw #2200 monoblocks look very, very sleek and slim....not to mention a mono for each speaker is a plus.Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's
