Vibrapods and points

Has anyone used these items in isolating their system? I am building a built in cabinet for my whole system and was thinking of using these on the receiver, dvd player and cd player. I know they sell the points to go with the pods but they arent for sale at the polk site yet. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've used vibrapods before under my cd player. Be careful as they can mess up some wood finishes. I don't know if the Vibrapod conepoints have this issue.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Yeah Ive read that but I will be putting sheet of cork under them to keep them off the wood finish. I am interested in trying the pod/conepoint comboHT Setup

Bump, I want to hear what others think about these.

I used them for years until just recently. I think it depends on how solid your rack is and what it is made of, and the weight of your components along with the quality of their stock feet. If your built in cabinet will be nice and solid, and not prone to vibration, that would help. Maybe you could even dampen it with something, like packing some nice thick insulation around it. I decided that my tube integrated was heavy enough (45-50lbs), and on a solid enough surface that it didn't need anything. My new CDP is almost 30 lbs and has very good stock feet, so I decided it didn't need them either. My old CDP was much lighter and I think it may have benefited from them though. But with some components they may soften the sonics a little bit. I think a firm, solid surface is better in some cases. Sometimes you just have to experiment and see how your components react to something like Vibrapods.2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables.
