    Procycle, welcome to the forum.

First, figure out which model tweeter you need to replace.

The original RTA 12 tweeters are no longer made, but show up on the various auction websites. Polk Audio sells a replacement tweeter (RD0194) but it looks different and is a different size. You can see what the RD0194 looks like in the list of tweeters above. If you decide to buy the new RD0194 tweeter from Polk Audio, mention that you are a Club Polk member for a discount.

To help prevent blowing a RTA-12 tweeter again:
    * Use a high current amp that supports 4 ohm speakers.
    * Read the RTA 12C speaker manual and verify that the correct fuse is installed.

    Welcome to the Forums procycle.

Just for future observations: A couple of sure indications a pair of speakers are SDA is the fact that the backs of the cabinets are clearly marked as SDA and one is labeled the RIGHT channel and one is labeled the LEFT channel. You'll also notice an additional connector for the SDA cable.

Also to be clear...If you decide to go with replacements from Polk you will need to buy (2). Replace both or you will have mis-matched sound which would not be ideal. I'm sure when you call Polk they would've mentioned this, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
