Can somebody please point me in the direction of a site that shows the differences in tube design?
You know like the differences in "getters" and **** like that.

Generally it is all over the internet in almost useless small bits and pieces. You have to piece it all together. Hopefully someone else has found a single site which sumarizes some of it.

Another suggestion (if you don't mind spending some $) is one of Bruce Rozenblits' books. I would suggest "A Beginner's Guide to Tube Audio Design" http://www.audioxpress.com/bksprods/books/bkaa42.htm
