Its not really a movie, but a documentary about a joke rather.

So, yes, really, its a hilarious documentary about a freestyle, so to speak, joke told by comedians, often just to other comedians. Its a freestyle, build your skills, see how long you can go, type of exercise for comics.

The joke goes as so; A group walks into a talent agent's office. Says; 'Boy, do I have an act that you are going to want to book. Its great. Its a family act.' Agent says; 'Okay, tell me, what do you do?' Group says; "It's me the husband, my wife, my son, my daughter, and our dog...'

From here the comedian gets to tell the joke however they want, and its always the nastiest, racist, prejudiced, most sexual, incestual, disgusting, perverse, sinful, and HILARIOUS things you ever heard.

The joke ends with, the agent saying; 'Thats an interesting act. What do you call yourselves?'

"The aristocrats."

Thats the punchline. I realize it probably sounds pretty lame, but, if you have the stomach for some pretty sick humor, I highly recommend it. Its not playing in all theaters across the land, but I bet you could find it.

So, the documentary involves the filmmakers going around to many, many comedians and just having them talk about the joke, where they first heard the joke, them partially or fully retelling the joke, and so forth.

It'll be out on DVD too for those of you wanting to wait, but seeing it with a crowd really adds to the enjoyment.

Go see it.

That would be the children's movie, The AristoCATS, which ironically, is mentioned in The AristocRats.
