CSi3's Vs. CSi5's?

I have RTi6's, would either go with these. And $180 for the CSi3's, $360 for the Csi5's, it seems like the better deal would be the CSi3's.

never heard the csi3 before. but i love my csi5. if money is an issue, go for the 3. but would that create a "want" to upgrade later on? many do, many don't. if you've got the upgradeitus, get the csi5 now and save money in the long run. plus it'll match the rti6 better anyhow. but what do i know?

the 5 is to centres as the 12 are to towers, MASIVE!
I have the 3 and can't complain, I would like the 5 cause the drivers would match my 8's but not at the cost. -
Definately go CSi5. The performance of that center is fantastic. Much more pronounced vocal response and much more depth and midbass response. Vocals sound warm and clear...explosions, music etc during movie reproduction is astounding.
If there is a Tweeter anywhere near you could always audition the 2..if you havent already of course. -
if you must have an absolute answer.....csi5. if money is not of great concern....everyone will agree the csi5 is just better. think of it as spreading out $180 over the next 5 or so years. would you be willing to spend $3/month to own the better speaker? i learned this when i went cheap on my matress i sleep on. wish i put forth the extra $300 for the better one. over ten years it will have been worth it! i apply this theory to all of my purchases. hmmmmmmmmm.......wonder if that's why i'm in so much debt?
