They dont. Or the past Polks. (They, the RTi100 are not up to par with present or past products in other words.
All IMO.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Well, they are powered so they are very different than the current line up. My impression is that the current ones have a better sounding tweeter....but they are easy to drive, full sounding speakers that are not finiky. Plunk them down, adjust the bass level, and off you go....I am pretty pleased with mine...I only wish my LSis were so unfiniky...
But hey, as everyone always says here, you should go listen and decide for your self.System 1: Martin Logan Vantage, Rotel RC 1070, B&K Reference 200.2, Music Hall DAC 15.2, Yamaha 2300
System 2: LSi15 w/db840, Marantz SR8400, Rotel 1080, RM6800 (C&S), Sony X2020ES
System 3: LSi7, Yamaha SW215, Music Hall Maven, Music Hall MMF CD25 w/627opamps
System 4: RTi100, Harman Kardon AVR 230, Panasonic DVD -
Listen by yourself. They are very good speakers imho.Main: 2xLsi15
Center: Csi40
Surrounds: 2xLsi7
Back centers: 1xcsi30
Subwoofer: SVS PB10-NSD
Asus STX sound card -> Harman Kardon AVR325 -> Adcom Amps -
I think they sound pretty good. Driven with a Rotel 1080, a good source and good IC & cables, they will beat out a lot of other brand speakers worth a lot more $$. I know people that do not like REL subwoofers but I will be purchasing one. JMO.Michael
