I have a good friend that is very audio wise. He even met Matt Polk many years ago in Phoenix. He was out several weeks ago all day listening to my SRS'2s, prior to my tweeter and crossover rebuild. He returned last Sunday and loved the improvements.

ok... i have some observations...i realize i've only listened for 2 hours and they need more burn in time, but here goes... :D

the old tweeters must have been really loud and boisterous
it seems to my ears that the bass is clearer and the mids less honky..
of course, the highs are very relaxed...you can almost picture the cymbals vibrate visually

i know it must sound crazy that a tweeter swap could affect the drivers below it...but, the sl2000's must have dominated my ears, so much that swapping them opened up alot of what the other drivers were trying to say

also, again maybe a crazy statement, but, the SDA effect seems more pronounced! the whole soundstage got 'deeper'! ;)

all in all, a great swap! especially for the $!
