$$$$$ in owners manuals

I ran across this owners manual for a Pioneer cassette deck from the late 70’s early 80’s era and was getting ready to throw it on the bay for a few bucks. I noticed someone else had one listed but it was a copy from an original. Got to checking his other items and he has like 782 items listed, copies of audio gear user manuals.

Evidently he has to be making a little cash to invest that much time in the operation.

Might be worth your time if you have one that’s desirable.$$$$$

No, your probably not going to get rich, but $ is $.

I’ll be paying closer attention to the junk boxes at the next yard sale.

This might be old news to some of you old dogs, but it might be enlightening to some of my fellow Polksters. (EDIT: Hell I'm a Polkateer! WHOOO!)

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder if you could really charge enough to recoup your time and expense in paper/ink/shipping.

Simple question. If you had a cool million bucks, what would you do with it?

Yes, you can. These people are getting the manuals for nothing, scanning them in once, and mass-producing them on a copier (remember... the more prints you make, the less $ per print), doing a quick bind job, and hawking them on ebay. I prefer original manuals, myself, and will pay more for them. I've gotten an original manual for my Pioneer SX-450, vintage 1976. I think I paid $15 when the photocopies were going for $5.
    Ludicrous gibs!

BTW- I have some original Marantz 2220b manuals I might try scanning in, just to see if they'll pull a few bucks.
