I have an item for sale on eBay. This is my second time selling something so I'm pretty new to this. Anyway, I have had 3 people ask me to end the auction early and sell to them. 2 offered a price (one was way too low, the other decent and I refused and he offered a higher price that was pretty good), the 3rd asked how much to end the auction early. I'm temped to take the highest offer as it is a fair price and I may not get that high through the auction, although past auctions show a comparative price. So here are my questions. Currently there are 6 people watching and 0 bids.
1) Is is ok to end an auction early for the sole purpose to sell the item to someone? (ebay wasn't too clear on this)
2) if so, is it considered ok to tell the 3rd guy a price higher than the other 2 to see if he bits?
This is for a paintball marker and barrel, just FYI.
