Found a pair of rta11t's for $150 in minty condition locally and they actually have the 3000 tweets and wing found on the tl's but the tag says Rta 11t not tl's....maybe the tweets were upgraded and wings added or could they be a transitional pair with the upgrades before the model # changed? So now I own Rta 11t's (original monitor series), Rta 11t?? (the ones I got today), Rta 8tl's, SDA 1c studio's, Moniter 5 with sl2000 tweets, Cs 400 and a psw 650. Looks like I'll be moving stuff around tonight and giving the Parasound a workout..

Well....how do they sound? If they have the newer tweets they are most likely the "TL" series. Details please :)

They have to be the tl's cause the bases do not have that cheesy little particle board crap round the bottom...they actually have screw in flat feet....funny though the id tags do not say tl...just "Real Time Array Series rta11t" my older ones say "Monitor Series 11t". Anyways they sound ok to me and a bit forward on the top end and little lacking on the mid section....of course this is compared to my sda1c's...I havent listened to anything too good as of yet though....I'll bust out some of my fav's later though. I thought about taking all my drivers and creating a pair of beasts with some old sda-srs crossovers(if I could find some). I will probably sell off all my old 2000 tweets and upgrade to the new ones. I have really just decided that I will not be happy till I get some 1.2tl's...sda's are just hard to beat end of story. Maybe these will make it in my vinyl system I am trying to find space to put in the house.
